Frequently Asked Questions:
Are your prints and posters framed? I see that gray border thing -- is that a frame or a matte?
No, it is not. Most prints are printed on white or light
colored paper stock and the edges are difficult to see on the light
background color of the page. So, we surround them with a gray border
so you can clearly see the edges and margins. We hope to offer framing
in the near future.
What if I want to return my print for a different one?
Once a print is shipped it can only be returned due to
damage in shipping. That's because the slightest crease, smudge,
fingerprint, fold, tear, scratch or dent in the paper cannot be
repaired and makes the art unsuitable for restocking. Each item is carefully passed through our quality control process before shipping. Choose carefully.
We provide full color representations of our products, but monitor
colors do vary. If you have concerns about colors, you should view your
selections in different monitors for comparisons before you purchase.
If your product was damaged in shipping, we offer a convenient PHOTO
RETURN option. Just take a digital photo of the damaged area of the
print and the damaged container in which it was shipped and paste them
into an email to service@artbeautiful.com. Please include in the body
of the email: your order number, the shipping ID or item number, a
brief description of the reason for the return, and let us know whether
you are seeking a replacement or a refund. Once your damages are
assessed, we will contact you for a replacement with the same
product.Your request will be processed within 10 days and you will
receive an email letting you know your replacement is under production.
No substitutions are permitted for damaged items. If the shipper
determines the damages were caused by them, you will receive a credit
for your original shipping, your return shipping.
Can I get a discount for buying over a certain amount?
Yes, you can. We are in the process of setting up our
discount program for volume and trade purchases. It should be available
soon. If you have a large quantity planned for purchase or you are a
trade professional, please email us with the details or call
214-773-4494 and we will contact you with further information.
Do you make money on shipping?
No, actually it's quite the opposite. Shipping costs are
major concern for both customers and online store owners. We, like you, are at the mercy
(if any) of the shipping and postal services. And we, like most online
merchants, often charge less than our cost for shipping, because we
know that these costs are a major concern to you, as well. The very
last thing we want is for a customer to feel they have over-paid in any
way. Our desire is for you to feel just the opposite --- that you have
received an good value for your purchase experience and the art you
selected. Our publisher also charges a flat $6.50 for processing all orders. We
include that charge in your total shipping cost.
Another factor is the container that protects your artword from damage in shipping. You might be amazed at how packages can be damaged in shipping. So, we take great care in packing your product safely. Most often, the shipping container out-weighs the product inside! That's why, for example, you can usually ship 3 prints for the same shipping cost as for one.
Note:
the more you order, the lower the shipping-related costs per order. For
example, it usually costs the same to ship three prints in one
container as it does to ship one!

What if I want to crop or trim my poster? Will I be in violation of any rights?
Your art print is yours. You may trim it, crop it, matte
it, mount it, or combine it with other images --- your imagination
rules. Only this: you may not reproduce any item. If you need a larger
image for some special reason, we may be able to help. Please contact
us at Service@ArtBeautiful.com with your questions.
What is a Giclée?
A Giclée is a archival quality inkjet print of a work of art created on a computer using special software and tools. The word "Giclée" is a French word meaning "to spray ink". Giclée has become a popular type of art among decorators, consumers and collectors.
